What to do with E90 & E92 what's been standing a couple of years?

Hi New poster on here.

Has the title says I have a E90 330d 2008 & a E92 330d 2008 both have been parked up now for 2 years and due to mental health problems & money problems I just let them sit there and done nothing with them and I loved them too much just to sell on thinking I will get them sorted.

Both was parked up just before MOT ran out knowing they was going to fail, I’m in no way a fully trained mechanic but I can do most mechanical jobs my self but my mental health got the better off me in recent years.

I will list them both & there problems and I want your opinion on what needs to be done. I’m not looking to sell them on to make money out of them. I just want to get them road worthy for my own insanity.

I will start with E90 320d (N47)
Was parked up before MOT (AUG 2022)

Rear brakes needed replacing.

Coolant leaking from oil cooler housing (gasket was changed has it was leaking oil from there now it leaks coolant).

Had a new turbo and full service around a year before it was parked

No DPF has got EGR blanked off swirl flaps etc was remapped by glen at gkr performance.

E92 330d (M57)

Sticky rear caliper (I do have a caliper rebuild kit and new ATE disc & pads).

Suspected turbo failure.

Had full serviced a month before MOT ran out.

Remapped by previous owner with dpf

Battery on both cars have completely gone I fully charge them but still not enough power to turn it over so I would need new batteries for both cars and some sort coding tools to link them to the cars.

I will probably start up a new thread on both cars I just want your opinions on if it’s worth it or not and what would they need after sitting for so long so I can get a list going.

I’m hoping this will give me motivation to do them and do my mental health great.

2013 BMW X5 35i  [7.80]

Is the goal to get both road-worthy and sell, or keep one of them for your transportation?
