i thought the later model E90's already had this bracket installed? Mine is a 2009.5 E90 and my headlights still shake like crazy since day one.

IS there any update to this??
I bought a CPO 2011 335I with 9,000 miles last week and I've been noticing this problem. I own a 325CI (E46) w/ adaptive xenons, and I previously owned a Lexus w/ adaptive xenons and had no issues with either. I'm stumped guys.

This drives me crazy too...I just ignore it now...tried having the dealer look at it but they gave it back and told me nothing is wrong...funny thing is my wifes x3 with basically the same headlight doesn't bounce at all, ever.
Oh well...I'll just floor it till my eyes have better more important things to look at.

I took my car three times to two different dealers a while back and they never fixed it. The lights shake on every small bump or road irregularity. Apparently my e90 lci has the stiffening bracket installed already. Might be time to take it apart and see what's up.

Happens with mine to. They constantly flicker every second of driving. Look under the left rear of your car if you can get it up. There's an auto level for the adaptive lights on that control arm. Needless to say mine broke some point after lowering my car last year and i never fixed it. People think I'm driving with my high beams and flash at me but damn it is so easy to see at night now haha. Probably fix it soon but in the meantime everyone else on the road will have to deal with it

I have figured out why. There is a clip inside the headlight housing. Will have to remove the chrome parts to access the clip. The clip was loose for me which caused the housing of the low beam to bop up and down. Have to take the clip out by pushing in from the edge of the top. And then put the bottom part of the clip onto the ball thing and clip the top part. and done.
