Massive water leak driverside footwell e92

Hello

Have a massive leak coming from around the obd2 port area. I can't figure out where the source of the leak is, I've cleared the baskets area under the bonnet /hood they were clogged but unclogging didn't help anything. Please video attached. Anyone able to help?

My car is an e92 335i n55 and is a UK car

Thanks

Check your cabin filter housing in the bay. I had a similar leak, and the water was getting in via the cabin filter.

Most likely culprit ^^^^.

If not that, then check sunroof drain tube. Could be plugged up at the drain in the rocker panel. Maybe even migrating down the A pillar.

OT but nice interior trim... very unique!

Hello, thank you. I took the cabin filter, housing but didn't see anyway of the water getting through. When you had the issue what was wrong with your housing?

It has a rubber seal in it which can leak over time. The housing may also (which it was in my case) be loose.

I think it could probably be comboed like that, but super-super rare.
I've seen a red interior, and I've seen glacier silver trim, but never the two together!
I'm sure it's out there in the wild, but really cool to see

Hello, so it is the sunroof. I do not know how to clear it I have trid put 3mm nylon cable down but won't go through, I have tried looking for where the thoes drains lead to so I can clear it from that end but I cannot find it. Have you got any advice for me, can drive this car as it so much water in it now.

The drain tubes lead to small rubber valves down in the rocker panels. One of these being plugged up is probably causing the water to back up in the tube and spill down the A pillar. Buuuuut, there is also the possibility the tube is damaged somewhere in the run down the A pillar and to the drain. Statistically that is not the problem. Google cleaning E90 sunroof drains and you should find lots of posts & videos. You basically need to take the panels off that are where your front jack points are and you'll see the drains. Hope that's all it is!!!
