Popping on deceleration but only when cold

When driving after a cold start I get some mild pops and burbles when decelerating. Once the car is warmed up I'll still get a little pop on deceleration but not significant. Exhaust also smells very rich on cold start, much different than my N52 330i. Is this normal behavior? I have MHD Stage 1 ACN flashed with the burbles disabled. Even before flashing MHD completely stock it did the same. Injectors aren't leaking. I've removed plugs after sitting overnight and all of them are dry. Could it be injectors starting to fail, allowing too much fuel?
