e90 SULEV N51 Radiator replacement

I have a 2008 e90 - CA SULEV model (N51). the radiator has developed a leak and I would like to replace it. The SULEV radiator has a temp sensor glued to the radiator. BMW one is backorderded more than 3 months.

there are some after market solutions.

Has anyone had any experience using these?
My mechanic refuses to install these?
Anyone here willing to help me install this?

I was told by my SA that the radiators were 3 months out as well. I can't wait 3 months, it is leaking now. It just purchased the CSF from FCP and will install it this weekend. It should have been covered by the SULEV warranty, but it was not worth the time and hassle of going back and forth to the dealer and/or waiting 3 months. The hardest part will be dealing with the sensor.
