N42 20A Rebuild

Evening All, And Hi, I’m new to this and in need of some advice,
So I’ve taken my N43 to bits to find that the Timing chain guide is mostly in the sump!
It’s blocked the oil Chanel’s to piston rod 2 and basically ceased making the crank balancer and rod black due to heat.
If the excess bearing material will polish off,
Should I reuse the crank & rod ?
