6HP26Z Transmission issues

Hi everyone, recently got an E92 330d (m57) 185k miles with ga6hp26z and the trans been giving me nightmares i’d love some opinions

1) The first issue i’ve noticed is that the transmission often jerks and doesn’t shift very smooth (except 5 to 6) (oil change usually does the job but there’s more)

2) The second issue is that when the car is cold and i want to shift from 3rd to 4th for the first time it kicks me back into 3rd and only lets me into 4th after like 2-3 or 4 tries and then i have to hold the accelerator pedal in order to keep the engine rpm up, if i let go of the pedal the 4th gear acts like neutral
but this completely stops happening after like 3 minutes of drive and 4th gear holds rpm as it should

3) The transmission sometimes mostly on city drives seems to delay shifts it gets into the range of 1700 rpm where it usually shifts, it feels like it’s wants to shift but it can’t and i have to push the engine to 2100 rpm and then it finally shifts

What could possibly be wrong ? Thank you for any tips and clues

First thing I'd check is the oil level. This needs to be done with the car running and level. If that checks out you're probably in need of new solenoids, seals, etc. Worst case transmission overhaul.

Do you have a TCU tune? Mine does this to some degree by design, its setup to be more aggressive and better suited for performance as it will be in the proper rpm range for acceleration. With XHP you can ADJUST this behavior to YOUR liking. You can disable the warmup/cold stuff, and make the different modes shift VERY differently. ( D-M-S )
