It's amazing how complicated these cars are. Especially when it's worth noting that diagram is missing several haha.

Such as (for me) the xDrive module under the front passenger's carpet (VTG), the tire pressure module in the right rear quarter panel (RDC), the HD radio tuner right above the HiFi amp (IBOC), the USB/aux/bluetooth module right besides the telematics (MULF2-HIFI), automatic transmission computer inside the valve body (EGS), and I'm sure there's another I'm missing.

Edit: I missed listing the IBS on the battery neg, and the antenna diversity module at the top of the rear windscreen (not sure if that counts as a real module). Also it's interesting that they show the steering angle sensor down by the rack; I suppose that must be because this example car has active steering. Most cars with hydraulic steering are going to have the steering angle sensor in the clock spring in the column up by the wheel.

Wonder how many people have changed the left headlight when trouble shooting a SAS fault?

Only a dealership would blindly follow the instructions over common sense.

I have a 2009 e92 328i xdrive and my idrive is completely dead, my power seats work but the bolstering adjustment does not, my sos light and sunroof light are on the instrument cluster, and when I “scan all modules” on my scan tool it freezes up and fails to communicate with the car communication computer, anybody know which module or modules, are most likely responsible
