[Malusby]

I just installed some Amazon headlight assemblies from JP Auto for my 2011 328i xdrive. The install went as smooth as can be. The new assemblies look great. But on both the driver and the passenger side assemblies this piece was zip tied to one of the bulb housings. Does anyone know what that it is used for? I looked over the old assemblies and this piece is not anywhere to be found.

Also, is there a market for old headlight assemblies?
