New update; I haven’t really had a good chance to check anything out, but i’m wondering if it’s possible that my intake vanos error could be related to my major vacuum leak. If not, it looks like i need to figure something out but my current codes are listed below. My car will go limp mode after 5-10 minutes of driving and it seems random. If it’s not in limp mode then it is common for my car to stall when slowing down. For some reason I don’t seem to stall in limp mode, although my engine runs super rough as soon as the vanos error hits. I have a vacuum leak tester coming in tomorrow, but in the meantime i thought i would see if anything can be done about my intake vanos. thanks!

Thought I would drop an update for my fixes - turns out my major vacuum leak was actually the gasket that goes around the valvetronic servomotor, turns out i completely forgot to transfer that part over when I got my new valve cover. My intake camshaft codes are gone and i’m not going into limp mode anymore, although my smoke tester did reveal a vacuum leak where the intake attaches to the turbo, so i’m ordering a new coupler because i’m pretty sure that the old one is just extremely worn down. The vacuum leak coming from there isnt as major, so no lights but I’m just gonna fix it so i can feel comfortable again. Anyways, she is finally working properly again and i’m pretty happy with it.
