Hi - I am looking to 'reset' the short circuit counts on my reverse lights. My driver side will not come back on after replacing the bulb. I have been researching the coding tools and it seems that I may need to reset the short circuit counts on the lamp.

I am hoping for a PM from ss to get the lowdown on the software set and approach. Thanks!

F30 GTS Style rear reflectors

Hey, I just installed GTS style rear reflectors to match my taillights on my F30 335i. I am having an issue with my reflectors when turn signals are on. Only the first 1-2 scales work, everything else works fine (startup animation, brake lights, drl). They work fine when vehicle is in accessory mode/on position. When the vehicle is running the turn signals just get "stuck" but everything else works fine, I have GTS taillights and wired them to the LCI adapter since it also gets power, I don't think it's a wiring issue since all functions work properly when the car is in accessory mode. I have tried to code in LED conversions under Rear Electronic Module via Bimmercode and still no luck. Would anybody happen to know what section I would need to code in the rear bumper reflectors on Bimmercode? I just find it very strange that the signals don't work when the car is on.

Any help is appreciated!

Hey all,

Not sure this is the right thread but here goes...

My car is included in the Takata airbag recall program, so this will be done at the dealership soon.

Whilst the car is at the dealership, I have asked if they can update all the ECU modules firmware to the latest version. The BMW tech I spoke with suggested that this could be done for around AU$250 and might actually take all day! I believe there's a problem with the FRM module preventing me from coding the auto folding mirrors option (using BimmerCode).

Questions:
- Is there a way to work out what the existing firmware versions are, so that I can then check again after the update?
- Is this even worth doing/spending money on?
- Are there any benefits to be gained?

For reference, my E90 is a May 2010 build.

Cheers

E93 Convertible Top Coding

Hi All,

Just purchased a 2013 E93 335i.

It did not come with comfort access and I was really hoping to code the car so I could enable the feature where you can open/close the convertible top with your key fob. I bought the Carista EVO adapter however none of their coding options seem to help me. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do? Thanks!!!
