How to code out tail light DRLs on LCI cars?
I'm trying to code out my rear DRLs. I did it on my previous car but I'm unable to find my post about it that's probably dates back to 2019.
All the other threads I find seem to say the code is "DRL_TFL_MIT_BL" but that is already set to nicht_aktiv . Anyone can shed some light ? Is there another code I need to change? I went through the list and nothing else seems to be related. UPDATE: Update I was able to find the solution. Had to purchase a replacement FRM so I was able to test away the options and found back this thread in my search. DRL_TFL_MIT_SL_2 (English DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WITH STANDING LIGHTS 2) control the rear taillights. DRL_TFL_MIT_SL_1 controls the HALO eyes and if you want to remove them. You can black out your car this way. Last edited by TheMidnightNarwhal; 10-04-2024 at 03:58 PM.. |

That line in English is "DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WITH BRAKE LIGHTS". So not to sure, assumed that was it but now that I'm re-reading myself, perhaps they mean literal brake lights as in when your foot is on the pedal type of lights. But reading the other lines there is nothing that comes close. |

There's also DRL_TFL_MIT_SL_1 and DRL_TFL_MIT_SL_2 which are "DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WITH STANDING LIGHTS" 1 and 2.
Maybe that's the key. Would like to confirm before trying to code because my FRM is already on it's last legs and every time I code it something else breaks it seems. |

Just checked my trace file. Try these settings and see if it helps.
VERHALTEN_DRL_TFL set this to usa daytime running lights DRL_TFL_MIT_RL_BL_1 nicht aktiv (daytime running lights with outer tail lights) DRL_TFL_MIT_RL_BL_2 nicht aktiv (daytime running lights with inner tail lights) My car is FRM2 but hopefully the settings may be the same. |
