Rocky Mountain Motorsports

Yesterday was a good day!

Sitework is not complete, so no pedestrian access for action photos.
Have to settle for paddock photos.

Both N54s right? Which one is quicker? Is the N54 trackable in IS form? I know the early ones had cooling issues.

Yes, both are n54. I have been tracking the 2008 e90 335i since 2010 and have not had cooling issue. Both have aux coolant radiator. The e90 make less power and on strait line acceleration is slower than the IS, the DCT shift lot better than what I can do. But on the track the e90 is faster. Considerably faster. Even on slower tires is faster. Suspension is identical on both. Maybe because e90 is MT and is lighter and has slightly better weight distribution
