I have 2010 328i sedan, and it's at a BMW dealer.
My car is leaking oil badly from the valve cover, and I knew my car is under SULEV warranty, so I took it to a dealer to repair it.
When I dropped my car, and I talked to an advisor that it should be under SULEV warranty, but the advisor said valve cover gasket is not under SULEV warranty. I insisted that it is, then he said he will check it.

Now while I am waiting for their phone call at my house, I downloaded SULEV document, indeed 2010 328i valve cover gasket is not on the list. 2007, 2008, 2009 has the valve cover gasket on the list, but from 2010 it is not.
Am I getting in trouble? If the dealer call me and say it's not the valve cover problem, just gasket, I have to pay $1400 out of my pocket?
I should have checked the document before I took my car to the dealer. I just read all the forum articles about SULEV warranty, and all of them said the gasket is covered....

Any 2010 328i owners who had similar situation can give me some advice on this?

So I got a phone call from the dealer, and said that they replaced the valve cover gasket under SULEV warranty.
I was hoping they change the valve cover, and ESS while the cover was opened, but they only replaced the gasket.
I just want to let others know that 2010 338i valve cover gasket is covered by SULEV warranty.
