Hi all, looked under the car today, found a nasty oil leak spreading everywhere, does this look like a bad oil pan gasket or could this be something else?

(Ignore the flex pipe, I know it's bad )



Possibly unrelated (looks like a crankshaft seal leak?), but there's also this:

I would say yes, however, that last picture with oil behind the pulley suggests you should also investigate oil filter housing gasket area.

I replaced gaskets 5 and 6 (and all the others that go with an oil change) recently if that's what you're talking about, didn't see any leaks around those


And thanks, I took another look and it does seem like the oil pan gasket is at least one of the issues

Sounds like you're on the right track then.
If the oil is not coming down from the top, then yes, you're looking at an oil pan gasket.
