Zb nunber help
Hi everyone, I have an issue an I can’t find where to post it so I’m hoping here is ok.
I brought my e93 n53 (without 3 stage manifold) with a few issues, most I have worked on a now fixed. I’m in the uk also. I went to update the software on the dme due to a rough idle and winkfp and ista p show two different options. Winkfp says zb 8619286 ISTA p says. Zb 8619288 Bimmerlabs also list 8619286 as the firmware. I tried both, but I don’t know what one is the correct one. Is anyone able to help me out? I don’t want to ruin my engine with the wrong zb Original zb shows as 7602410 and it’s an msd81 however inpa sees it as an msd80 (I think due to it being changed as the dme has a 2009 date on it) my last 7 of my vin is JV92746. Original zb may or may not be for my car as it’s not the original dme the car came with from the factory. Ista always wants to use the one ending 88 even if I use 86 1st. However if I put 88 on there then winkfp then says 88 is the most up to date. One of the zb must be wrong but what one🤦🏼 Maybe someone who is Savoy can work out the difference between the 2 Zb it’s offering. My car is the 160kw version. It’s going to be remapped but need the correct Firmware on the dme 1st or it’s pointless. Currently 88 is on there as I decided to trust ista p rather than winkfp. Thank you I’m advance Last edited by Valemtine20; 11-02-2024 at 04:01 PM.. |
