GA6L45R transmission bump during shifting until warm

Anyone else had this issue?

Had the torque converter reconditioned in June, due to shudder at 40mph.... lots of slipping... black fluid. Thats all fine now and had the colour of the fluid checked 2 weeks ago just to make sure.

One niggle that didnt go away is this for want of a better word is a bump when going from 3 to 4 ( and less so 2 to 3) when the engine is cold. Its still there when warm but its a lot more acceptable.

Wondering if it could be solenoids because its specific to a gear range... maybe the fluid temp is at play.

Or software, every module is still sat at the same version from when the car was built....2009 (n52b25).

Someone here with the same issues reported the issue was fixed when they replaces a wheel speed sensor. There is a historical code logged for this, nothing current.

Maybe this is due to the engine when cold? I connect inpa in the morning.

Cheers in advance.

GA6L45R is a GM transmission. It doesn’t have solenoids.
