Unable to figure out the issue
My car is a 2011 bmw 335xi with n55 engine, production 03/2010. 180xxxKm. I just recently did OFHG, intake manifold gasket, serpentine belt and pulleys, a couple coolant hoses, spark plugs, ignition coils, all 4 rotors, calipers and pads, and expansion valve.
My car is fully stock and no tune. I gained a misfire after swapping my plugs and coils so I chased it down to a single spark plug. After replacing the already new spark plug the misfire came back this time in cyl 2 and 3. 1 moved them to 5 and 6 and the cyl 2 misfire moved to cyl 6 but cyl 3 stayed. I scanned for codes and got these codes. yesterday driving home my car had multiple cylinders shutdown due to misfires and I had to pull over. My car has horrible misfires when idle or under 1K rpms. It will also drop to 500 rpms in traffic. If I accelerate too fast it will sputtering intensely. I've been looking it over and the only thing I can find is a connection that looks to be covered in oil, unfortunately I don't know the name so if you guys could help with it would be appreciated. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? The photo with time 7:54 is before cyl shutdown. The other 2 are right after. The connector covered in oil is between the radiator and engine, pretty far down there. |
