I have strange burnt plastic smell coming from somewhere in my "07 325i. I only noticed it stopped at lights with the windows down, but the smell was worrying enough to turn around and go home because I thought I was about to have an electrical fire. I did just have a headlight ballast (I'm guessing) go out as my left headlight was flashing then stopped working, could this have anything to do with the smell. I'm really hopeful someone can point me in the right direction as I'm new to DIY and BMW's so I have my hands full.
