e93 boost leak. advice/opinion pls?

so following a very loud bang i’ve got lack of power increased fuel consumption and sound of an air/vacuum leak that i can’t pinpoint. the only clues i have are a friend felt air leaking from under the pipe in the pic under the red/white highlited area (i can’t feel it) and there is a film of wet oil when you touch the underside of the pipe in the red/white highlighted area of the pic. it did feel like there might be damage to the pipe under the green area but i can’t see nder there and there is no oily film there. am i looking at a popped seal or damage to the pipe itself? i know everyone is going to say get an upgraded pipe but all i can find is used replacements of the exact same plastic pipe

If there is a film of wet oil you definitely have a boost leak. Remove the hose and inspect it and the seal for a failure. A split in the hose will be easy to see if you manipulate the hose. Give it a good squeeze and any cracks should open up slightly so you can see them. Removing it is the only way to properly inspect for damage

Remove the bolts holding the expansion bottle in place while leaving the bottom hoses attached then manover the bottle so you can get the pipe out. You should be able to to it, it's fiddly but possible.
