Rear Tail Light Not Working.

So today my rear (running) tail light stopped working on my 07 e92 335i. I first noticed it when I got home today after a quick run to Wally World. As far as I can recall it was working when I left Walmart, so I wonder if something came loose on the way home. I think it happend when I was coming home I had to slam on my brakes and a stoplight because an idiot didn't know how to read a red arrow, but anyways I think that's when something happend. I briefly checked the fuses and checked the bulb and everything seemed intact, so now I'm clueless...

I'll have to check in the morning if I missed a fuse (or even if I checked the right one lol). So If anyone has any ideas or know what fuse it might be please be free to tell me!

If it's the lights that are on all the time, the LED bars burnt out. Happened to my brother's car recently. You're gonna need a new assembly.

No indication in the instrument cluster? Or is that what clued you in the light wasn't working? If you have Carly app and a wifi dongle, or INPA, rerun a diagnostic. Of the FRM module and see if any fault codes come up. If you get fault codes, write them down, clear them, and retest the light. When the FRM module senses a lighting fault it de-powers that circuit as a protection against a short. And it will not re-power the circuit until you clear the fault code.

So, did you have a dash indication?

2007 rear taillights use regular light bulbs. You should get an indicator on the dash if they are not working. A long shot could be too if one of the bulbs is not seated properly in it's holder.

The light bars use LEDS. I had the voltages measured from the LEDS and they were dead.

I have an 2007 e92 and I just ran into this issue last week. If all your actual bulbs are working and the tail light isn't, you will need a new assembly. My left one went out and BMW wanted $300 for the replacement assembly(quarter panel). I've heard you can repair the CFL strips, but it's not worth the hassle I feel.

My trunk tail lights aren’t working on my e92 pre lci. I recently bought some LCI ones and I bought the wiring to connect the outside ones, I’m stuck and don’t know what to do. If anyone could help it’d be greatly appreciated.
