Hi

Just to compare, here is a log from my cold start with "noise reduction ON" in MHD:

As you can see, my AFR falls into 10 area too then DME decrease STFT in order to keep AFR @14,7 target.

Only difference is that on my car both AFR reach 10 and both STFT are decreasing where in your log only bank2 is concerned.

I don't know why but it's like if the DME was in open loop at the beginning and then it goes into closed loop then lambda value is taken into account and STFT began to adjust fuel to reach AFR target....Then the LTFT takes over and STFT fall into 0 area....

I think it's awesome we have a community willing to help each other out and we certainly have some experts here that are good at looking at logs.

If someone is willing to add a post about the "general rule" when looking at logs (like what to look for - timing, boost, lpfp, etc.) I think that my also be helpful.
Hey all, been getting a high gear, high load misfire. Often results in "combustion misfire" in cylinder 3/4/5/6. Seems random between them all. Took a log today and leaned the f out it looks like. Can't tell if this is my HPFP, LPFP, Injectors, or what here. HPFP was replaced under warranty by previous owner. Can anyone take a look?

Long time since I've done a log, but curious if anyone would like to take a look at an IKM0S tune I've been working on for my car:

https://datazap.me/u/tej98/1m-custom...og=0&data=3-23

I usually run MHD OTS maps but have been interested with the 1M throttle dampening settings (note, not the same as the 1m slider in MHD).

Thanks in advance!

Hey all. I have an N54 that got some bad gas that caused crazy timing corrections. I switched gas stations and recently performed a carbon cleaning. Since then, the car seems to be very happy, the timing corrections are all gone. Im hoping someone can take a look at my log and make sure all my numbers look good before I tune it up to MHD stage 2+. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you not misfiring? Your short term trims are subtracting a LOT of fuel, and this is on the stock map. When was the last time you did a tune up?

No, it’s not misfiring at all. What would cause those trims to be so high?
What do you mean by tune up?

Generally you want the wgdc base slightly below your wgdc after PID. Your v3 looked much smoother. If your happy with that target boost than it looks fine.

Trims are a little far apart try to reset adaptions and see if they are better.

hello internet, having an issue where the car is going into fuel mode 15 and leaning out hard

pure stage 2
walbro 450 + new regulator
e40 tune by CD919
index 11s
VRSF 4.5in intercooler
VRSF charge pipe w/ OEM diverter valves
ARM downpipe
XHP stage 3

i have replaced the fuel pump, HPFP, and regulator to try and get smooth fueling but it still seems all over the place

Your low pressure goes down to 41 psi and your high pressure goes down to 750 psi at different points. Both very low which it sounds like you realize. Do you think you might need a 525lph walbro?

You could also try changing your high fuel pressure sensor since that seems to be the most erratic. For example when you seem to have fine low fuel pressure at 60psi your high pressure drops to 750 psi which you’d expect to happen with a 40 psi low pressure.

Your stft jumps very high when that high pressure drops so the car is trying hard to add fuel but what’s strange though is your AFR doesn’t look terrible when your fuel pressure is low. Could you lower your boost/timing to see if the car is still having fueling issues? If you still do then a sensor might be acting up (fuel or O2)

If the less aggressive tune does make your fueling look better then you know fueling is an issue

Plugs/coils/injectors. You might still have some bad fuel in your system.

Hi all, looking to get some insight on my datalog. Threw a 30FF at high rpm and from datalog boost tapers down after 21-22psi. Apologies, it's a long log but it threw the code right at the end.

Pure 600s, VRSF downpipes, VRSF intercooler, VRSF charge pipe, Tial Q BOV, 2 in silicone intakes, N20 MAP. Custom Tune.

Fuel trims are really rich in the upper rpms. Adding a lot of fuel, more than likely a boost leak somewhere.

Gottcha, new coils and plugs within the last 1,000 miles.
It’s on its original injectors, they are 01s.

And it’s been through a few tanks of the new gas at this point, so there shouldn’t be any of the bad gas left in the system.

Could the fuel trims be indicative of injectors failing? The way I was interpreting was AFRs are staying mostly steady around 12.5 until certain rpm when they get leaner and fuel trims getting higher trying to compensate for lack of fuel getting into engine rather than boost leak. Fuel pressures seem okay so I wouldn't think it's a supply issue.

If you could post a log with wgdc 1 &2 we would be able to rule out a vacuum leak of some sort. It could be bad fueling, it could also be an excessive amount of air and the dme is trying to compensate by adding more fuel to balance out. Both banks are compensating fuel. But if youre wastegates are showing normal then it could be a fueling issue.

Id inspect the injectors, everything else looks normal, your fuel pressure looks good. If your injectors are leaking it would explain the massive amounts of fuel its cutting.

I will inspect those next. Thanks for your help.
Will running on leaky injectors for a little while cause any issues?

Got it to pop again with B1 and B2 WGDC logged. Steady around 50%.

Are you able to do a full pull from 3k rpm to redline at wot in 3rd gear? Its difficult to read the log its sort of all over the place. Looks as though youre not reaching boost target.
