Light sparkle in OFH after blown turbos

Hello guys,

this is really getting on my mind.

So my turbos blew due to thrust bearing failure (copper or brass bearing).

I threw new turbos on the car, also did the rod bearings as i had the frame down.

Bearing gap was in spec, i used king bearings std sized (checked the marking on each bearing), i was sloppy and only measured 4 bearings (biting my ass for that). But all four were in spec around 0.48mm, the 2 that i did not measure had the same wear as the others. Crank was perfectly fine on all 6, wiggle on cap after torque was also the same across the 6 (no play up and down but around 0,5 left to right.

This sparkle really freaks me out, is it possible thats just the sparkle from the turbo bearings in the left over oil inside the engine and oil cooler, which now mixed with the new oil?

The sparkles are so small, that i cant feel nor see them on my finger. Also non magnetic.

engine runs perfectly smooth, no weird sounds, oil temp is also normal.

Should i take the pan off asap and check or drive and do a oil change within few hundred miles/km?

Thx for helping me out.

You sure they're metal sparkles and not air bubbles?

yeah everything that had oil running through it, should have be cleaned/flush or replaced. i would change the oil and filter until it looks clean-while idling to temp
