Car accelerating on its own when letting off gas

My bmw e90 n52 328i accelerates on its own after letting off gas at higher speeds (50-60 mph) then my brake light, ABS light, and my traction control and stability light come on. The car won’t accelerate on its own if those lights are on and I let off the gas. But as soon as the lights go off the car will accelerate on its own at random when I let off gas

Hello, if you have any long term plans to keep and maintain the "E" chassis, you are going to need to invest in some form of diagnostic aid. Best case is a laptop, USB ODB2 dongle and standard software tools. (INPA, ISTA, etc.) There are also several great phone app based solutions. (Bimmerlink, Protools, etc.)

The behavior would have generated error codes that will help you and the community determine a best course of action, with the least expense to you.

Your E90 has an Electronic Accelerator Pedal Signal to the DME, as well as Throttle Valve connected to DME. There is NO mechanical linkage between Accelerator Pedal & Throttle. Throttle is via Eccentric Shaft (controlled by DME) which determines Intake Valve "Lift", controlling how much air is admitted to engine. Any time there are warning lights, such as SES (Service Engine Soon) or DSC/DTC/ABS, Fault Codes are saved in Fault Memory.

You have a rare & UNSAFE condition that needs to be properly DIAGNOSED IMMEDIATELY. Getting Fault Codes read in the DME & DSC Modules is imperative. If you don't have a Scan Tool or diagnostic software (INPA/ISTA) available, the nearest Advance Auto, AutoZone, etc. should be able to read those codes, IF the vehicle can be safely driven there.

We need those codes to suggest Next Steps. When you post back, please indicate:
1) Build Mo/Yr of vehicle, OR Last-7 characters of VIN?
2) Make/Model of Scan Tool or diagnostic software available?
3) Do you have a Multimeter available ($10 at HFT or Amazon)?
4) What work was done under hood prior to issue with acceleration?

So it’s a 2007 bmw 328i e93. I use my tuning software to run codes(also have a snap-on code reader that reads same codes), and I have my matco multi meter. I have long tube catless headers, a straight pipe, 3 stage intake, cold air intake, and stage 2 burble flash tune. But problem was happening when I first got the car a couple months ago.

Well then, what George said. If the trifecta lights are on, at least one code is stored.
