Bussines for the logic7 bmw 320
Hello, I'm having problems with my radio. I have a 2007 320i, with the basic package, it came with the bussines radio and I ended up buying a logic7 professional, but I didn't know it needed the fiber optic, it's working normally, but when the radio flashes red (sending fiber signal) it makes a noise in the speakers, and this continues for a long time, even when the car is off the radio continues to emit fiber signal. I know they sell Bypass loops for them, but I was wondering if it would solve my case, if I bought the loop it wouldn't keep emitting a fiber signal every time something happens in the car.

The Radio can be programmed to turn off the fiberoptic output and should be programmed for whichever system you have . Probably the base system without the amp . There are three system base system , Hi Fi system
and Logic 7 system . Amp speaker combinations. If it's programmed for the Logic 7 system it's fiberoptic is to feed the amp and the other stuff Hooked to the Most Bus (fiberoptic loop) If its Hi Fi it may have other stuff on the fiberoptic loop like DAB,Sat Radio or bluetooth Radio all separate modules. Same for base system for things like bluetooth phone. since it's a Euro Unit it may be different than the US all the Professional Head Units in the US are programmable . It needs to be programmed for the system you have in your car to have the right output voltage to power your speaker. The sound system also powers the warning gongs so the stereo is never really off and does not go to sleep until the car sits underdisturbed with the doors and trunk closed . It will go to sleep faster when the door is locked. Don't know what you mean by flashes red if the radio is mounted you can's see the fiberoptic output . If it is a used Radio its probably not programmed for your sound system and add on's Last edited by ctuna; Yesterday at 08:16 AM.. |

If it's not programmed the right output levels to power the speakers
