Oil pressure too low to drive warning- help please
I recently took the car to get the oil pan gasket water pump and a radiator hose replaced, after getting it back this error shows up, only while i was statonary or i was on the brakes/ decelerating, i checked for any oil leaks but couldnt find any also engine runs very smooth and theres no noises either, any ideas?

Unless the oil pressure sensor failed or its wire is somehow damaged I would stop driving the car immediately.
Its possible the shop left something in the oil pan like a rag or something that is now trapped in the oil pickup tube. If this is true you can grenade your engine pretty quickly. |

Hope you shut it off immediately. Don't bother diagnosing yourself, call the shop and have them tow it back and have them fix the problem; sounds like they messed up somewhere. Did they forget to refill it with oil?
A friend of mine just got a new transmission installed on his Jeep and the shop forgot to refill with fluid. He made it about 20 miles before he noticed some bad whining sounds and some weird smells, but they owned up to the mistake and fixed it. |

Oh no.... red oil pressure... usually it's never good. Since you did not do the work, call the shop ASAP and tow it there to get them to check and fix their error.
