U Joint Concerns
Hi all, first post after just joining the forum after purchasing the long awaited budget ‘dream car’ e91 335d m sport. Having drove it back for 2 hours and being stuck in multiple traffic jams, I happened notice a squeaking noise and vibration when accelerating and same vibration when breaking. Having researched mysely, it looks like a U joint replacement is required. Am i right here or is there something else going on? Thanks all and appreciate any responses!

There are a ton of posts including stickies on this forum from all of us OG's A-to-Z on the 335d and X5d M57. Search is your friend. you will find everything you ever wanted to and maybe not wanted to Actually, it's a great platform/engine and my wife's X5d is coming up on 236,000 miles. The most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, and we have owned many. It doesn't know the alphabet, which is why it has been so terrific. Same with my d. You can have all the power you want and still get over 30 miles per gallon with your d. |
