E90 335i Photoshoot: Ml-10RT wheels in multiple colors

The non-M E9X wait is OVER! As these 3-series has been one of our most popular chassis requests for the ML-10’s yet, we are happy to show off the ML-10RT’s on this proper E90. We included showing off these staggered specs showing what an enthusiast’s car with modifications could handle. As for the squared set, we do know this is one of, if not the most common setup across e9x chassis. We’re excited to feature 18” and 19” staggered fitments on this clean M3 in our Motorsport Gold and Anthracite finish. We have more shoots lined up in the future so let us know what car you’d like to see next!

18” Staggered:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Gloss Motorsport Gold
Front: 18x9.5 ET22 - Profile 3
Rear: 18x10.5 ET22 - Profile 4

Tires:
Continental ExtremeContact Sport02
Front: 265/35-18
Rear: 295/35-18

A lot of you were excited to see some deeper profile fitments. This setup shows off our 18x9.5" ET22 up front which is a profile 3 and the ultra deep profile 4 18x10.5" ET22 out back. Finished in Motorsport Gold with a machined lip to compliment the red exterior.

Note, this car has heavily modified suspension and fenders to fit this setup which is normally intended for an E9X M3. If your E90 non-M is closer to stock, we've got bolt-on & OEM+ fitments available in the ML-10RT design. Check out our fitment guide to dial in your perfect fitment!

18” Squared:

ML-10RT in Machined Lip Anthracite
Front: 18x9 ET30 with a 12mm front spacer - Profile 3
Rear: 18x9 ET30 with 15mm rear spacers - Profile 3

Tires:
Nitto NT01
Front: 245/40-18
Rear: 245/40-18

This car is set with our most common 18x9 ET30 squared, although this car is running spacers due to it’s highly modified suspension with rolled and pulled fenders, you can see this is a beautiful fit with a 245/40-18. This fitment is great for running some of the most wheel and tire you can get with a squared setup without any problems as long as the suspension clears, otherwise you might need a 5mm front spacer to help!

This 18” square fitment is what we recommend and is most common for E9x non-M chassis.

Big thanks to our Photoshoot Volunteer for letting us shoot their car! You can follow him on IG here: @sonydvo

Moved them from the blue car to black. Will take better photos when I’m back.

Apex ARC 8 17" or 18" help deciding

Hi I'm based in the United Kingdom and keen to get a set of APEX ARC 8,

need help deciding on either square setup

A: 17x9 ET30

or

B: 18x9 ET30

anyone tried both sizes, how significant is delta between 17s vs. 18s cornering, acceleration, comfort?

keen on the 17 inches for lighter weight vs. 18 inches, but how much is in it with wheel + tyre combined?

17lbs 17" wheel + 245/40R17 tyre = ?

18.7lbs 18" wheel + 245/40R18 tyre = ?

looking at options, tyre choice in UK is limited/expensive for 17s

225/45R17 popular size, however wheels look better with 245 & 255/40 R17 (£150-£200)

greater tyre availability with 18s. 245 40 R18 popular and readily available (£120).

E92 335i DCT M Sport 2011 (Space Grey)

also undecided between Anthracite or Hyper Black

EDIT: 18 inches looks favourable due to tyre availability/cost, would also like to know if the 18x9 ET30 square setup be a direct fit (sufficient clearance, no mods required)?
could the rears go to 18x9.5 ET35 without mods?

Thanks for looking

Hey, I think 18's was a good choice for the sake of aesthetics on the vehicles and 18's becoming a much more versatile tire size to get a hold of. An 18x9" ET30 is a similar fitment in relation to the fenders in the rear as an 18x9.5 ET35. Having that rear extra half in of wheel and tire can be nice for added grip. The benefit of running an 18x9 is that you have a square setup and run the benefits of being able to rotate your tires.

As for color, take a look at our gallery on our site and filter the finishes to see what they look like in different situations.

Unfortunately, we do not have any kind of walk-ins or will calls for our location as it is just our warehouse we ship from. If you need any info make sure to check out our site, email us, or call us. Thanks!
