Popping noise when using AUX

Hey guys,

I’ve just recently got myself a 2010 335D. When I play the radio it sounds excellent but using an aux cord it makes this obnoxious popping noise constantly. I’m thinking it could potentially be my aux cord although it is brand new. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've always had AUX quality issues with mine, I think the AUX quality is just trash. But I never had it pop constantly.
