It's cool, I'll help how I can, no need. Tuning can take care of post-shift flat-line/bog, but I'm DCT and haven't really had to deal with it. Tuning will change on a ST anyway, so I'd just make sure basic maintenance is done, any known hardware/sensor issues are sorted and the car is essentially running well.

OK
sorry not trying to set us back here but what'd you use to log and upload the data? I didn't log my 335 because it was just a tune but now I'm chasing a misfire with e60. I was also running wicked rich. All I have is N55 COBB and MHD app. Hoping one of these will suffice...

Either will work, but MHD is probably easier, can upload to datazap right from the phone. If you just changed to E60 and it started, could just be plugs depending what the change in cylinder temp/pressure was (power increase).

E90 N52 29CE Combustion Misfire Cylinder 2

I have a similar problem but mind is on cylinder 2 misfire. I replaced all spark plugs and coils and injector 2 but the car still have the same issues with rough idling. I pulled out coil#2, the engine didn't change at all.

I still have the combustion misfire cylinder 2

Help, much appreciated!

Compression test. Verify wiring to coil.

His last activity here was in 2018. Maybe he gave up on the car.

just saw this thread lol! I sold that car, majority of my issues were cuz I was using EMP tuning. Shit tuner who just used wedge base maps for everything. Went to a 135i next on 17ts. Then an M4 fbo e85. Then a single turbo M2 comp. then a built motor 1000whp Audi TTRS (current) and I also have a 6mt 340i right now. Been a busy few years 😂 also shouts out the dude who was helping me. Looking back at this thread with the knowledge I have now. That dude is a wizard

I’m just going through old threads now and I just wanna say thank you for taking the time and troubleshooting with me all those years back. I was a 17 year old kid who was broke and learning everything from forums and youtube LOL. You really helped me outt

I know it’s going to be along paragraph, but trust me it will worth.
So i had misfire on cylinder one, changed the spark plug, ignition coil, fuel injectors, did compression test still no results. On cold start it does misfire but after that car is absolutely fine.
Trust me i went to big bmw garage in london, dnt want to name and shame them but trust me did spend over a 1000£ .

First check ur spark plug, change ignition coil to one from another then do another cold start and chcwk if the problem goes to that cylinder if yes then u change ignition coil otherwise open the vanos solenoid and check if the filter is filthy if yes clean them ur problem solved.
Dnt do mistake like me and spend money when it’s free fix.
Hope this works.
Thanks
