cant get tracion, what is everyone PSI with a tune?

well i thought i could live with it but sometimes i cant.
i have the stock 255 rear sport package RFT. in 75*-90* weather i cant get trraction

i have a bmw mech. psi gauge that i check my tires with, the doorjamb says 34-35psi for the rear tires, but i went down to about 32 psi and it got a bit better.

what are you guys running? should i go down to 30 psi?

the only way i can even get of the hole fast is using DTC.

I don't think lowering air pressure in stock RFT will help with launch.

if you have a manual, launch at a lower rpm and play with the clutch slightly. if you move several feet at a steady pace before going all out, you should do fairly well...i have the non-sport 225x17s and fair not too bad, of course, could be better. i can launch way better without the traction control off.

Lowering the pressure wont do anything except make the car handle worse.Stock rft wont hook up if you let the air out to any pressure. You have to work on a quick slip, and use the throttle to control the tire spin.

Get new tires; non-RFTs. If not, then at least push the DTC button 1 quick time to turn DTC on; no button press and it's on "auto" mode where DTC will kick in quicker when it detects wheel spin...but you'll have lots of wheel spin. DTC "on" will turn DTC on, but raise the threshold for intervention, and your launches will be better. btw - your tire psi is fine .

so should i keep it where it is, lower it or just leave it to the stock specs?

i didnt know that lowering the RFT tire pressure didnt do nothing, that is a first.
