Checking engine oil level on 320d
Guys,
Just a quick question, I own a 05 bmw 320d es model, in relation to checking oil level on the 320d do you have to check it manually or will it show up on the display on the car when it's low, also do you have to use BMW oil or would you recommend any other type . Thanks |

i sometimes check my oil by the dipstick, checked it once and is way down the dipstick i guess when the light comes on it must be really low, check when it was serviced and topped up just pop in your local halfords and put some Castrol EDGE in the diesel stuff if its low thats good stuff

Engine oil low query
Dead on, i didn't think the check engine oil warning light came on to tell you if it was low on the 320d, thought it was just the petrol versions, cheers
