2012 iDrive

Hope to get a quick straight forward answer here.......

2012 328 with the second bubble(Nav screen) on the dash. Is that Nav system still supported by BMW, updates etc., or just the features and or vehicle settings through that little round wheel in the center console ?

ps.
I've never had or used this system
and have no idea how it works.

You can get map updates through 2023 for that Nav system. There's also a separate update available for the USB interface too. Depending on where you are you should get traffic updates still as well.
