Replaced Xenon Bulbs and Control Unit... Dead again! (CCID-121)

My front passenger headlight just wouldn't let me rest.

A few months ago I noticed my passenger side headlight xenon was out. Swapped new xenon bulbs in, still not working. So I tested the ballast/control unit by swapping the left to right side and it worked, so away I went with ordering a control unit. I didn't go cheap either, ordered an oem ZKW brand. Everything worked - beauty.

Now one month later, same headlight is out again. Any ideas what might cause a working headlight with new xenon bulbs and ballast to go out again so quickly?

Error code associated with this was CCID-121. Error code went away when first swapped in the new ballast, everything was good. Now this Error is back.

Appreciate any help, thanks!!
