When I did HPDE with my e91 with GM 6L45 6AT, my next planned modification was going to be a trans cooler with fan. There was a 335 with 6AT that already had already done the research for an ext. trans cooler.
Search for N54_Fan thread started on 11-08-2012.

2008 E91, ARC-8, 255/40/17 NT01, ER sport cooler, TCK camber plates, coil-overs 400# front 700# rear, Koni SA shocks. M3 Subframe bushings, front + rear control arms, tension struts, strut brace. Quaife, Carbotech, Schroth.

Good to know. Thanks for sharing.
We have done 3 races so far this year and the tranny has been running without skipping a beat. Fingers crossed we get another year out of it. At that point I’d be happy to replace it with a ZF 8 speed. |

I finally got a chance to edit the video from our last AER endurance race at New Jersey Motorsport Park from November of last year. Here is my opening stint.
I am really enjoying this car. With the interior stripped the car sounds great and feels nice and balanced weight wise mid-corner. I wouldn’t mind a little bit more power though (but then who would, right?) The cage makes the car nice and stiff and the one way MCS dampers seem to be more than adequate for endurance racing. |
