Missing Head Bolt / Torque Specs
Hello everyone,
Just recently I’ve discovered a missing bolt from my engine. It’s to the left of the oil filter and just above the Mickey Mouse flange. Am I right in thinking that the part number for this is 11317502048? What would be the torque specs for this bolt? I’ve attached pictures for reference. Thank you very much everyone! |

Timing chain guide access hole
Hello, yes, that is the correct part number. This is the access hole for removing the timing chain guides. I looked through the Bentley manual, in the timing chain section and did not see a torque spec for this fastener, I would estimate between 8-10 nm should be good enough. You could put a bit of blue Loctite to prevent this from happening again.
