Silver color difference

Would you say that putting a bumper with color code 354 on a car that is 354/7 would make it stand out be obvious?

Is there even a difference in those two codes or that has something to do with production year? What is “/7”?

There is always going to be shade variables even the same paint sprayed on to different days can have slight differences depending on environmental factors.

I know BMW paints in climate controlled but it does happen.

Silver is a hard color to color match.
