Milky substance on my oil cap
Hey guys I just had the oil light come on which is normal because I changed my oil about 5k km ago and when I opened the oil cap there was a milky substance on it. I know what it could possibly be a blown head gasket/ coolant leak or due to short trips in cold weather. Is there any way to diagnose which of the two it could be? Or any insight on the topic in general. Thanks in advance!

Has it been sitting for a while/only gone on short trips? Mine had this when I was only driving it a mile at a time during covid. As soon as I took it on a long drive it went away.
