If you knew how the forums worked you would know that if you reply to an old post, the threads gets shown in chronological order from newest posts on the feed. Which is why I saw it. You’re acting like I was directly responding to you, how does my post remotely resemble a post that is directly asking you personally to code your car lol.
This is what you sound like,

'Hey man I think I can make your dog stop barking so much.

Oh yeah how?

I'm not going to tell you what I'm going to do to your dog, because I don't know if it will work. Just let me try some stuff on your dog for free.

Why can't you tell me what you're going to do to my dog?

Because I'm not in the industry to help people!'

Even if you can code things other people can't, you act so weird and cryptic about it, I'd rather just ignore the warning than deal with you.

I’m weird and cryptic for not wanting to share a coding solution that I found? Ok got it 😂 go figure it out on your own buddy no one is stopping you!

You are not entitled to anything anyone has taken time and energy to learn and figure out. I get some customers like you sometimes who get irritated when service providers don’t tell customers what they’re doing exactly, service providers offer a service. Not to explain how things are done.

Get over yourself man. I never said I was entitled to anything. You literally offered to do stuff for free and I just asked what you were going to do.

Stop acting like I'm trying to steal your precious codes.

When I said, "What is your solution?"

Any sane person would have said, "I'll take about 15 minutes to connect remotely to your car to try to code it out by altering some parameters for the warnings instead of trying to cancel them all together"

or

"I had a module to replace the outside temp sensor that I'd like to install or mail to someone"

something normal like that.

but instead you're being a cryptic weirdo and acting like someone is trying to steal your million dollar treasure chest and preaching about how to run a service. So weird.

WHY ARE YOU STILL POSTING ABOUT ME?? Get over myself? You are the one that can’t get over this, you seem to be extremely bothered by my posts lol. Stop bugging me like I’ve said multiple times, go bug someone else

Coding is coding, I asked to remotely code a car with the warning. Why would I have to further expand on that lol

Lol, no you didn't ask to remotely code a car with the warning.

All you said was, "If anyone has this error and would like to get it disabled I believe I have a solution. Please send me a message if I am able to test it on your car, no charge"

Literally nothing about remotely coding.

We are on a coding subforum, anyone with half a brain would understand I’m talking about testing it remotely on their car. My name literally says coding in it lol. You really need to get over this, the fact that you’re double posting about this is crazy.

1st, this is not an "error", it's a freeze warning chime feature BMW has had for nearly 2 decades.

I'm trying to understand why you're so secretive about this supposive fix that you won't share it with the group, unless you want to profit from us by charging to code it
Coding parameters is typically a shared resource, is it common for people to charge to change the coding on someone's vehicle? Well, except for bimmer-tech

Maybe a have trust issues, but I would not let some stranger use my vehicle as a guinea pig to experiment on for coding when they're not even going to share what they're doing to the vehicle.

If you think you have the proper coding to disable the freeze warning, why not share it with the group for someone to try to prove that it works?

It’s complex, there are scripts and custom tools I’ve built for these types of things. I can’t just tell someone on here oh hey go here, disable this and done. Coding gets much more involved than what you think it does. And that is exactly why I’ve asked for a car with the warning I can connect to. But at this point, given how much discourse and problems this has caused I’m going leave it alone. Clearly everyone that’s replied has a problem with my ask.

Gotcha, I disabled the acoustical warning on my E86, it was as simple as setting the value to nicht_aktiv.

Still hasn't gotten over himself. This guy is too business savvy, smart, and his time is too valuable for us.

First he was too good at service providing for us to understand that he doesn't share his solutions because that's not why he's in the industry.

Then he has to mention that he's actually the victim because his time is so valuable that he is wasting it on the undeserving people in this thread.

Finally he switches it up and says his solution is just too complex and involved for us to understand.

I’m genuinely concerned at how irritated this has made you, don’t you have other things in life to worry about? It’s been a few days and you decide to make another post. You keep on saying I cant get over myself, but you are the one that actually can’t get over this.

Yes I’m wasting time on undeserving people in this thread lol specially you. I asked for a car to test solution on, but clearly that is too much of an ask for. Please go bug someone else, I feel like you have a serious problem considering you are still posting about me

Just found out I can block you, so I just did. finally, now you can go bug other people lol

Now I'm curious, is there anybody reading this post that would actually let a stranger remotely code their car without any details about what they will be doing?

I'm reading this post, and it's gold .

For coding, just get a obd2 reader, like veekpeak ble and bimmercode app...

cheap, and will pay itself.

Yeah I used the Veepeak BLE to code out the iDrive warning, the seatbelt gongs, etc. and made mirrors fold / windows go up with lock/unlock using Bimmercode. I also use the Veepeak to send gauge information to my Mr12Volt Android Auto headunit so I can monitor some Torque app parameters on my CIC screen - (boost/coolant temp/intake temp/fuel pressure).

I also used the MHD red dongle and MHD for Stage 1+ tuning and Bimmergeeks Protool to code out the passenger seat occupancy sensor after it went bad and I'm gonna have to use it soon to code a new battery.

The one annoying adjustment that I can't seem to make is the freezing temp warning while driving. I've seen a lot of people claim they can do it, but never seen proof. They usually are just talking about the gong that happens initially during freezing weather, which is simple to code out.

Veepeak looks sick! I've wanted a solution for this since installing Mr12Volt. Looks like Bimmerlink is compatible with CarPlay now, I'll definitely be making that purchase.
