Try AZ Bimmer Motor Werks. They let you provide your own parts for aftermarket upgrades and their rate is lower than other shops I’ve called.

Thanks! Have you used them before? I reached out to them a few weeks ago via Yelp and it didn't seem like they were really familiar with the jobs.

I haven’t used them yet but plan to on my clutch job soon. They seemed very knowledgeable about all the other little parts that should be replaced during the job and were receptive to me providing the parts and them basically just charging labor.

Another place nearby is Ultimate Auto Works in Northsight. I’ve gone to them before with no issues, gotten the work done quickly and even lowered my labors hours for it. Their rate is slightly higher but they do good work and honest.

I am new to the Southwest forum and just ran across this thread. Welcome to AZ!

Try AZ Beemer Repair 11237 N Cave Creek Rd Phoenix, AZ 85020, Phone number
(602) 870-2985. They just did some work on my fuel tank and did a great job at a reasonable price and great staff too.

An update for posterity:

1. AZ Bimmer Motor Works - they are decent for run of the mill maintenance, competitively priced, and I’ve had a few things done by them. They’ve never been over price wise. They have been over on time several times which was pretty inconvenient. There was one or two issues that I had to take it back for and they addressed things promptly and without charge. They didn’t seem as confident when it came to after market mods.

2. Desert Bimmer Motor Werks - super knowledgeable, two guy shop that’s owner operated. Very competitive price wise, stuff got done on time or earlier. If I was choosing between 1&2 for diagnostics and troubleshooting, it’s Desert BMW all the way. Would easily take it back there.

3. Parts Score - boy howdy. This is in Scottsdale and they do a bit of everything. I saw a 488 getting a new exhaust, a huracan getting dialed for with suspension work, m4 comp with everything done, several 911 gt3rs, a McLaren and more. I just had them do a bench flash and BM3 on my f82. Reasonable-ish prices, quality work and quick turnaround. Highly recommend for tuning and mods.
