2006 BMW 330i CCC toast - need options
I have a 2006 BMW 330i with the factory HiFi stereo and a CCC that keeps rebooting—it just cycles through the BMW home screen before shutting off and restarting. Pretty sure it’s done for. What’s the most budget-friendly way to replace it and upgrade to a CarPlay unit?

You'll need a new CCC or CIC either way since the audio and iDrive won't work without it.
Then you can get an aftermarket android based screen that does CarPlay, but will also switch over to the CCC/CIC to change settings and adjust audio. Personally I'd recommend upgrading to a CIC unit along with the CIC display, then using the mr12volt carplay/AA interface. It's not the most cost effective solution but the cleanest factory-looking integration that doesn't rely on an aftermarket Android unit sitting on the hottest part of your car. |

Grab a CIC unit and a carplay screen. You can still use your CCC controller although the CIC one is better.
Youll need coding but then atleast you won't run into CCC issues again. |
