Interesting sound what could it be ?
Hello all I have this weird rattling sound , to my dismay I’m a little worried it might be my vanos bolts that go to my cams, I have no check engine light nor any performance issues the only ones I do is my low idle but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it , any ideas ? Thank you all!

+1 for the stethoscope. Remove the engine cover and see if you can pinpoint it. Seems to be louder by the intake manifold - the two DISA's on my '06 330 made quite a racket before I replaced them and they live inside the intake manifold.

Ok thanks guys I just bought a stethoscope , I’ll keep you guys posted , and also i don’t think
My intake manifold has disa flaps as it’s a 325i but nevertheless I’ll keep you all posted thanks ! |
