What Tow Hitch to go with?

Currently considering getting a Hitch on my X5! Looking for something that is budget friendly and will get the job done, Ive seen some more expensive hitch going for $700+ and some going for $150. Do they really make that big of a difference? I know theres the stealth hitch but for that price tag I cant justify it.

I am a hitch fan, they're great! The cheaper Curtlo style ones are fine, they just sit significantly lower and mess up your departure angle. If your X5 sees little to no dirt, it'll be 100% fine. They are also more visible which some people don't care for as much. Factory is best IMO, as they are SIGNIFICANTLY more stout that Curtlo. Probably 20 more pounds of steel at least. That's on my E70 X5. I have an uninstalled Stealth for our F10, and they're pretty cool as well. Require wiring to take advantage of the stealth feature, otherwise it's fixed and pretty much the same as anyone else.

Is this for a bike rack or actual towing? Because if towing you'll have to factor in getting the wiring done if you're not going to DIY it
