CIC script activated map updates

Hello fellow bimmer fans. I bought a CIC and retrofitted it and navigation worked out of the box ( firmware is C16 so I guess it has been script activate or how can I find out? ). How could I update the maps version in this case? I’ve searched far and wide and info about that is really scarce. Thank you for any input on this

Just leaving this here if it ever helps anyone, I've succesfully updated the maps using this tutorial: https://www.drive2.ru/l/540644986736083127/, all you need is FSC code and Dr Gini B014
