how 'bout an interior speciality?.. look what I've done to my steering wheel

I used to have black interior and saddle brown seats. I took out my steering wheel and filled it up more to 've the chance to hold it tightly and steer sticky on the road. That worked ! and I also painted the center cover into black too, it was just an M sport steering wheel now it' like an Alpina hand-made nobody told me that it was lookin' bad but some of my friends thought that it looks fake. I just did what I like.
Tell me what you think 'bout

Get a needle and start poking the steering wheel in a particular pattern and you are set.

well I think they mean that BMW never paints the centre cover and the steering wheel is slimmer than mine in original.

thanks
for the ones who liked it. I just put it as an advice for bimmers.

I think OP took it to an upholstery shop to add extra padding (maybe a reskin). I'm guessing the M stitiching is also custom.

I like what he did with the wheel trim, very nice (and original).

i think it would look better with the stitching being the same color as the seats but it looks good

I mean my steering wheel is now thicker than before. I added more (i don't know what exactly the name is) of the thing BMW uses to fill inside the steering wheel, it's like an extra padding yeah.

But it looks good and it's so convenient specially at sudden turns.
I advise you that if you have the chance, do it, it's cool and useful.

so basically its a DIY M3 wheel. that would explain it. at first i thought he somehow retrofitted an e46 m3 wheel; thats what it looks like.

the black trim looks good.
