It was pleasing to see that BMW Australia has extended a similar warranty to what owners expect and receive in North America and the UK.
I sound a little bitter, probably because I purchased my E90 in 2005, hence only 2 miserable years of warranty. Not to worry.....next car will be the new C class Mercedes. Cheers Gucci  |

3 yr warranty
For owners of E90's registered before 1 March 2006, write to BMW Oz and ask if they'll extend your car's warranty to 3 years'. I did and was most pleased with the outcome.

I'd refuse to walk out of the dealer buying a new/demo car without 3 years warranty.
Honda provides 5 years on their car so what gives with the 1 year which BMW was offering. From a customer's point of view refusing to give waranty is a sign of weakness (nof confident in the quality of their cars).
