Any UK 335i lag reports?

I have a 335i arriving in 2 weeks. I've been alarmed by the mega-post:

where the current engine management software is said to introduce significant turbo lag under 3,300 RPM. The seems to still be hearsay, strong hearsay but there is no proof yet to take to BMW. BMW in the UK say they know nothing about this (they would say that). Are there are drivers in the UK with or without the problem post a v29.2 software upgrade?

I have the very latest software on my car, and there is no discernable lag below 3000rpm. Although, we in the UK are not running 29.2 software as per the US - now on 30.0.1 version...

Thanks, I need all the re-assurance I can get with less than 2 weeks to go before I get the car! The lag reports maybe relate to unusual driving styles, going WOT from very low revs I suspect is not typical in my driving style. I'll only know when I get the car and it's has some miles on it.
