I have not had one person pull out in front of me since I have been driving round with dipped beems on all the time.

Having said that I still get drivers pull out in front of me and I can just hear their excuse if I blasted them or hit them.... "What, I thought you were flashing me to pull out!"

Consequently I may be buying a Challenger tank next, just for the hell of it

Not quite. There is a theory that cars with DRL's obscure or make less visible to other road users, the bikers with their dipped headlights on. This was our Governments argument to the EU.

As an ex-biker, anything that prevents some of the dozing car drivers on our roads from hitting a biker gets my vote. I'm sure my anxiety levels must have hit peak levels over the years of riding motorbikes. Ultimately for now, it's personal choice.

Think it will always be a Volvo thing lol.
