Ive just seen the new 3 series saloon images on bmw.co.uk

So does anyone know when this is going to be available?

and what percent would i lose on my car which is a 57 plate as soon as the new model is out?

Any car that has been ordered over the last month will be the new one. Anything delivered from Sept. 1st.

Don't think it will effect values at all yet, usually takes a good 12-18 months to affect them slightly and then 3 years for it to make more of a difference, however even if the gap ups to 25% at 4 years old 25% is not all that and it is more a case that the newer one gets a premium not your looses more.

And don't forget that the brochures were available from the dealers yesterday. Mine has quite a stock of the old models in at the moment.

hi all!

my first post and just a quick question.....

im planning on getting a new e90 LCI 320d M Sport soon and was wondering in the 'Editions' models were still available or has that been discontinued since the new model has come out??....im guessing it was to get rid of the pre-face lift models but i noticed they still have the information about it on the BMW UK site and would be over the moon if the edition models were available on the new models.

The new models are released on or after 21 sept, before that the current shape will continue.

No editions on the new model, as they were only giving you their excess old stock parts, like the idrive.

In the current climate discounts will be here sooner than expected, even before xmas.

I've just been to the dealers and my face lift model has been built and it is on its way here and should be in the dealers on 16 Sep. I am due to pick it up on Saturday 20th.

looks like leather and media pack is going to cost me around £3000!

what did you order?....any extras?

I ordered the facelift on 22nd July; it has been built and will be at dealers on 16th Sep and with me on 20 Sep (dealer cannot release before 20 Sep)

bluewater is one of the new colours right?.....have you actually seen it in the flesh or did you just go off pics??. brave choice!

I wanted metallic red; I took a punt hearing it was a pale blue metallic. The new brochures feature the bluewater -the colour is growing on me.

i may try and pop down my local dealers later and see if they have the new brochures in...thanks for that.

Did you not fancy going down the individual paint option?

also i notice in your options list you have front and rear PDC....is this as option as im sure on a USA site i read that Front was going to be included with the rear from now on.

In the UK, metallic red was not an individual option.

Again, in the UK, PDC is included at the back, but not the front. I believe if you get PDC front and rear, the monitor shows a picture of the car with the sensors operating and that cool feature is worth it just for the graphical picture
