I have a sneaking suspicion you're one of those that can never make up their mind.

I guess I'm still shopping around, looking for a good deal given that the 2008 models are being phased out by the 2009 models.

Going to test drive the executive 335i today...

saw and drove more cars today - 335xi, 328xi, 328i, vw r32, audi a4, and G37S.

the bimmers were pretty basic in terms of options but the road feel is amazing and power in the 335i was pure nirvana. I think I'm going for a 335xi sedan with an automatic and heated seats.

The vw r32 is a crazy car - loved the DS, seats and brake system... but the car was a bit too small for my needs. The G37S felt like a spaceship - had a billion gadgets and I didn't know whether to drive it or watch a movie.. the sales man even told me I can crack the system so I can watch while I drive -- The G37S had low torque, not much of a road feel, and a hefty price. I would have probably got the 2009 Audi A4 but it seems like it will be too pricey in the next few months and there are no lease rates out yet.

So at the end it comes down to a choice between a very practical 328xi or a more expensive 335xi. I think I'll go for the latter because of the xenons and power.

nope, I knew what I wanted. Went in, placed my order, they had one identical to what I was looking for and I bought it the same day.

Of course I shopped around. I test drove Audi and Infiniti (knew I didn't want a Lexus) and drove the 328i plus the 335i before making my decision. At the end of the day, though, I made a decision, did a lot of research on what was an acceptable price range, found a dealer that would meet it, then pulled the trigger. It seems you're having a hard time with that last step.

Finally took the plunge. I signed up for a lease on a 335i sedan black on black with premium, cold weather, auto transmission (need to share the car with gf so no more manual), and an ipod usb port.

I'm paying $500 a month with an initial payment of ~$2800, which is made up of $1664 for tax, $625 bank fee, $500 first month and $50 for misc. stuff.

the lease is for 36 months with 10k miles per year.

I'm picking it up tomorrow - can't wait!!

Car is great! I got it with 9 miles on it, which is the lower than what the previous one had when I got it (40miles). Will be breaking it in for the next few weeks - although low end power is definitley noticeable.

I'll post pics soon...

well, I'll try to hold my self and break it in for a month or so. Maybe 1,000 miles... but its a lease so am I being too cautious?

no sport package roads are too rough around here and gf will be driving so I need a comfortable car that can take the bumps. Although, I do hate the 17 inch standards but they are realtively inexpensive to replace...

I need to figure out how to take out the dealership logo from the back its hideous..

UHALLBOY - where do you wash the car?

$1847 taxes
$625 bank fee

36months / 10k miles

What you guys think? I'm finding out more details but does it seems like a good deal to jump on - there's the auto trans. rebate, another incentive rebate... and I'll recuperate some cash from BMW CCA.

Appreciate all comments...
dont put any cost reduction. if your looking to lower your monthly payment, consider MSD(multiple security deposits). where are you getting the car?

Thanks - car is amazing. Power comes on at about 1.5k rpm and remains constant... through 3-4k... probably though higher rpms but I can't get there yet.

I keep getting annoying calls from the infinity dealership I checked out even though I told them I got another BMW. They are so aggressive.
